The International Symposium on Wearable Robotics Conference (WeRob 2019) will be held for the second time in Houston, Texas, USA. Through the sponsorship of TIRR Memorial Hermann, the conference will be held between October 16-18, 2019 in the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. In the 2019 edition, WeRob will not only highlight applications in rehabilitation but will also expand the role of wearable robots in promoting healthy aging and safety in the workplace. There will be interactive workshops with engineers, clinicians and end-users to promote collaboration among different disciplines, and a product theater demonstrating the latest in wearable exoskeletons and robots. The Symposium will showcase the expertise of international speakers from academia, government, industry, and rehabilitation centers, as well as the experience and feedback of end-users of robotic devices.
Topic Highlights:
- Integration of Wearable Robots in Rehabilitation Technology
- Wearable Robots for Health and Wellness in Aging
- Future of Work: Maximizing Performance and Safety through Wearable Robots
